Citroën has introduced a new Rip Curl model to its New C3 Aircross SUV range. Created in partnership with the iconic Australian surfing brand, New C3 Aircross Rip Curl is the new flagship model in New C3 Aircross SUV range, sitting above Shine Plus variants, and comes with upgraded exterior styling and a unique interior design. Prices for New C3 Aircross Rip Curl start from £23,815 On The Road (OTR) with orders opening in July.    

 

New C3 Aircross Rip Curl is the third collaboration between Rip Curl and the C3 Aircross SUV range. For 2022, Rip Curl editions are based on Shine Plus models and feature additional styling and interior upgrades. 

 

Outside, Rip Curl models come with 17-inch ‘ORIGAMI’ black alloy wheels with all-season tyres for added grip even in challenging conditions. New C3 Aircross Rip Curl models also feature an Anodised Blue Exterior Colour Pack with a blue skid plate insert and blue door mirror covers, while small Rip Curl decals can be found around the exterior.  

 

The blue theme continues inside with the interior featuring ‘Rip Curl’ sapphire blue leather effect and cloth upholstery with an urban blue ambience. The Citroën Advanced Comfort® seats, dashboard, centre console and air vent surrounds also come with blue colouring. The blue floor mats are bespoke to Rip Curl models. 

Further updates include a panoramic sunroof with an electric sunblind as well as a Sight & Sound Pack which adds upgraded HiFi, a colour head-up display for the driver and a 3.5-inch colour matrix display binnacle inside. 

 

New C3 Aircross Rip Curl can also be specified for further off-road use with Citroën’s Advanced Grip Control® technology that includes Hill Descent Assist. 

 

Rip Curl models are available with a choice of two petrol engines and a Diesel engine. Petrol models feature Citroën’s 1.2-litre three-cylinder PureTech engine, with PureTech 110 models featuring a 6-speed manual and PureTech 130 with a 6-speed EAT6 automatic. The 1.5-litre BlueHDi 110 Diesel is available exclusively with a 6-speed manual.
